Becoming more human each day…. Giants on the Rampage. Sabbatical had started, and yet it wasn’t at all how I had expected it to be. My first week was terribly difficult. Gone was the steady, yet frenetic, rhythm of working day life; gone was the structural content; and, gone was the community of people I interacted with, in some form or another, on a daily basis. Gone was… me. I had stopped, and I felt like I’d stepped into a vacuum of intractable nothingness. What’s that, sabbatical? Trivial, yet human.
