http://thecaywoods.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 1, 2009. Yep, that's right.we closed on our house yesterday afternoon! We are are super stoked about getting moved in and making it into "our home". We went and bought paint yesterday afternoon, and Mikel, David's dad, was going over there this morning to get started! Anywho, I'll continue to add pictures, as we get moved in and settled in, but this is it for now. Labels: all happy emotions. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Kingsport, TN, United States. The Caywoods: March 2011
http://thecaywoods.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 10, 2011. Jesus…there is no greater name. As we have had a great start to the New Year in our family, full of so many possibilities, I can only think about how so many people are still strapped down by fear. I love the line in this song that says, “Every fear has no place, at the sound of Your great name.”. Lost are saved, find their way. At the sound of Your great name. All condemned feel no shame. At the sound of Your great name. Every fear has no place. At the sound of Your great name.

http://thecaywoods.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 16, 2009. Life as we know it. We walked around downtown Asheville and checked out some antiques stores and just some other little unique places. Saturday we went to the Biltmore, it was raining the entire time we were there, but we still had a great time! We both want to make it an annual trip, but at different times during the year. I especially want to check it out at Christmas time.you know me, I'm like a little elf, I love Christmas! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life as we know it.

The Caywoods: 7 weeks and counting!
http://thecaywoods.blogspot.com/2010/02/7-weeks-and-counting.html
Friday, February 19, 2010. 7 weeks and counting! I don't know about anyone else, but it literally feels like these last 33 weeks have absolutely flown by! I went to the doctor last week for my biweekly appointment and my 4d ultrasound. Crissie is growing right along where she needs to be and weighed almost 4 lbs! We got a pretty good view of our beautiful baby girl. Got to count her little toes. And even got a glimpse of the attitude that is to come. She's gonna be a rotten one for sure! Pretty cool, huh?

The Caywoods: January 2011
http://thecaywoods.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 7, 2011. New Year.Thinking about what REALLY matters. Why do we desire God's intervention in our lives more than His presence? Why do we think that we know what we need? It's so arrogant of us to tell God how to be God. Isn't that what we do when we stomp our feet before His throne and whine about all the things that need fixing instead of praising Him for the strength He graciously gives us to endure? So don't worry about these things, saying, 'what will we eat? What will we drink? So do...

http://thecaywoods.blogspot.com/2009/12/life-in-2009.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. So here on the LAST day of 2009 I find myself sitting in my living room writing to you. We have had an INCREDIBLY eventful year! Unfortunately I have no pictures to upload at this time unlike my wonderful wife. Anyway, here we embark upon the roller coaster of '09. Get in, strap up, and hold on! Anyway, I digress. As you have no doubt already read previously, Nikki is now pregnant. We are having a baby girl! She is growing like a weed! Also you have also probably read that we...

Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Defining the Charms of the South. The Southern United States, when viewed through the right pair of eyes, is a dreamland of eccentric characters and tangled roots. But it does take a certain perspective to truly appreciate this. Many people who do not live in the South can only see the area as popular media respresents it. From. They treat everything they watch and read as if it is gospel. The South is full of Gospel, alright - just not the kind everyone else is thinking.
