Lora's United States of Whatever: Long Time No Blog!
http://lorasunitedstatesofwhatever.blogspot.com/2011/09/long-time-no-blog.html
Lora's United States of Whatever. Random insight from my peculiar mind. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Long Time No Blog! Since school started, I haven't had much extra time to blog. My extra time has been spent lesson planning, organizing forms, packing lunches, cooking and running around like a chicken with my head cut off! They remind me of banana nut bread. We have really been trying to lay off of bananas, so this was a special treat! Of course, we had some bacon with our pancakes! 1/2 tsp. salt. We hav...

Lora's United States of Whatever: It's a Wrap!
http://lorasunitedstatesofwhatever.blogspot.com/2011/07/its-wrap.html
Lora's United States of Whatever. Random insight from my peculiar mind. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. I decided to skip out on trying a new vegetable this week and enjoy some of my favorite vegetables instead. Last night I tried a recipe that I found on the Everyday Paleo web site. It reminded me of the lettuce wraps from Pei Wei or P.F. Changs, so I had to try it. Plus, I had been craving Chinese food, and I thought this might just quench my desire to order an A13. http://boomersoonermama.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sooner born, Sooner bred. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. I've always had a hard time maintaining close friendships with girls. And maintaining friendships with guys (which is WAY less complicated than girls) is not a good idea being that I'm happily married. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My main jobs right now are being a mommy and wife. I don't have a "real" job anymore, but in a previous life, I was a teacher and then a school librarian. I am also a Young Living Independent Distributor. Bond, Party of FIVE!

Sooner born, Sooner bred. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. We're working on potty-training. Not hard-core potty-training, but slightly more serious than before. We're trying to put him on the potty when he first gets up in the morning and before bed, and any time in between when he mentions that he might be interested. And also if I think he's about to poop :). So far, we've had probably 10-15 times that he's gone peepee on the potty. (Yay! Here are a few conversations we've had lately:. It's hysterical...

Lora's United States of Whatever: The Little Girl Who Cried Pee Pee!
http://lorasunitedstatesofwhatever.blogspot.com/2011/07/little-girl-who-cried-pee-pee.html
Lora's United States of Whatever. Random insight from my peculiar mind. Sunday, July 24, 2011. The Little Girl Who Cried Pee Pee! When I first entered the blogging world I wrote a blog. About my dear husband, who is constantly crying "wolf". I've recently realized that I have a little girl that does the same thing! Anyway, during our scrumptious lunch, Izzy was also experiencing her first outing in big girl panties (Cars panties, of course! Izzy cried, "pee, pee! But it wasn't just during lunch. we h...

Lora's United States of Whatever: June 2011

Lora's United States of Whatever. Random insight from my peculiar mind. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. The Antique Accident: Beware of the Elderly! Only a few people know my biggest fears: frogs and old people. While I think frogs are scarier, I had a recent run-in (literally) with an old woman, that really rocked my world. Since there was no way for me to get out of my car in that instant, I pulled into the first available parking lot. The old lady drove right past me! Nothing. Not a scratch or dent. I drove h...

Sooner born, Sooner bred: October 2012
http://boomersoonermama.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sooner born, Sooner bred. Tuesday, October 9, 2012. But I like our cocoon. As much as my kids drive me crazy sometimes (a particular 3 year old comes to mind), there's no place I'd rather be at 7:00 on a Friday night than here at home with the five of us (FIVE! Then throw in there the whole ministry part of our Christian faith. Who has time for that, either, when you're juggling a nursing newborn, a 17 month old who won't walk, and a 3 year old who's testing every boundary? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sooner born, Sooner bred. Thursday, May 31, 2012. I posted this link on Facebook earlier today, and wanted to share a little more about my thoughts. Http:/ www.everythingmomandbaby.com/2012/05/how-carrying-your-baby-front-facing-out.html? Any time spent wearing your baby is special bonding time, and I think it helps contribute to their emotional security. I just wanted to share the information I have found about safe baby-wearing and help educate those around me :). Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Girlfriend is on...
