So, I've been thinking. Wednesday, January 24, 2007. Somehow the autopilot switch got tripped in my brain, and I've lost all ability to think intelligent thoughts. Now, I've never been the "waxing philosophical" type, but lately I've, ashamedly, been the "brain has turned to mush" type. Thursday, January 18, 2007. So, I've been thinking. Monday, July 23, 2007. Luke recently ordered this book for me, and I have loved what I have read so far. It's written in an easy, conversational style similar to the blog. The four authors maintain. (A website I a huge fan and frequent visitor of! The title of this book alone is enough to inspire curiosity. Shopping for Time: How to Do It All and NOT Be Overwhelmed. That God has called us to do.". And definitely worth the read. Hey friend.I miss you! We need to talk sometime soon!

So, I've been thinking. Friday, May 18, 2007. Just Like the Israelites. When I read the Old Testament, I often find myself getting frustrated with the Israelites. Did they just not get it? Did they not realize how God had been faithful to them in the past? How could they forget? Surely if I had a pillar of fire to follow at night and a cloud during the day, I wouldn't soon forget! Last night when talking to one of my friends, though, I realized my own self-righteousness in thinking this way. I am just.

So, I've been thinking. Wednesday, July 25, 2007. As soon as I became pregnant, I started hearing the old wives tales, and just as quickly began dismissing them in my mind. For example, do people actually believe that if you hold your hands above your head that you'll strangle your growing infant with his own umbilical cord? Sometimes it doesn't get better than this. Friday, December 30, 2005. Tonight I saw the movie, "Memoirs of a Geisha" and it was EXCELLENT! If you want to go to a movie where you learn about a different culture and just want to watch a movie that was artistically well made - then this is the movie to see. It's long movie - about 2 hrs. 15 min. but it keeps your attention the whole time. I also saw "The Family Stone" and I recommend that one as well. It's a fun comedy that will surely keep you laughing!

This past weekend, some of my friends from church came over and we had ourselves a little bonfire.made smores and roasted hot dogs, talked in to the wee-hours of the night - you know the great things of bonfires.
