Newton's laws of motion as applied to me. General Aviation focused journal, recounting the process of learning to fly and of achieving the private pilots license. Monday, August 29, 2005. Lesson 33, Thruxton Solo. Today was the day for the Thruxton solo flight, I wake up this morning feeling optimistic as the weather outside looked good with clear blue skies and calm wind. I looked at the time and realised I had to be getting back so I quickly finished the coke and headed back out. After start-up I taxie...

Newton's laws of motion as applied to me. General Aviation focused journal, recounting the process of learning to fly and of achieving the private pilots license. Wednesday, May 03, 2006. Posting this a little after the event due to time constraints in the past couple of days. Monday was May day and therefore a public holiday, so we decided to head to Cornwall, this time to visit a WWII airfield called Perranporth which was hosting a fly-in and BBQ for pilots and the public. We had missed the BBQ sadly a...

IMC Training and ferry flight. After a short while I was vectored on to the approach for Denham and was allowed to remove my hood as we crossed the lakes on base. Newton's laws of motion as applied to me. General Aviation focused journal, recounting the process of learning to fly and of achieving the private pilots license. Thursday, July 27, 2006. My IMC training is completed albeit the final skills test which is scheduled for next Wednesday, which I am half excited about and half dreading. The IMC has proved to be an exacting course but enjoyable and has improved the accuracy of my flying enormously. Posted by Chris @ Thursday, July 27, 2006. Isle of Wight again.

Newton's laws of motion as applied to me. General Aviation focused journal, recounting the process of learning to fly and of achieving the private pilots license. Wednesday, April 26, 2006.
