Remembering Kyrie: June 2014
http://kyriethome.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 17, 2014. For the past six years during the month of September (National Childhood Cancer Awareness month), we have organized the wonderfully successful Twilight Walk, an evening that families have come to know as a safe place for kids to play, eat food made with love, learn of great local businesses and support the need for a pediatric brain cancer cure. Over the years we've had a ton of people ask us about a 5K. You guys gonna have one? A 5K would be a great fundraiser! How can I help?

Monday, August 18, 2014. Young hearts. Old souls. Nothing warms our hearts more than when kids help other kids. And from day one, we have had young supporters working alongside the Kyrie Foundation, inspiring the adult volunteers. 8226; Madison and Mason have been super-incredible fundraisers each and every year for the walk, and the Stolz kids who have generously put together gift baskets. 8226; Anna, who has been our little light of inspiration since our very first year. And so many more! And when you ...

Remembering Kyrie: We have our work cut out for us.
http://kyriethome.blogspot.com/2007/02/we-have-our-work-cut-out-for-us.html
Monday, February 19, 2007. We have our work cut out for us. The biopsy results are in. Decent thing about a fast-growing tumor. Her procedures for her Hickman line and lumbar puncture went well. Her shunt is almost working too well, though. They didn't get much CSF from her spine, so they might have to do another tap tomorrow. Tomorrow Kyrie will be sedated for a "hearing test," a test that doesn't really check her hearing but checks electrical impulses sent to her brain. I am incredibly sorry for your l...

Remembering Kyrie: 9.
http://kyriethome.blogspot.com/2014/09/9.html
Monday, September 1, 2014. Happy ninth birthday, sweet Kyrie! Oh, how can the years stack up so quickly? Just because you're in heaven, doesn't mean that your parents don't reminisce about the day you were born. The excitement. The anticipation. The gratitude. What a perfectly packaged little angel you were! You packed in so much love during the short time you were here. Not quite enough, though, to make the ache go away.
