Dragon Boat Festival, revisited. This entry was posted on June 14, 2013, in Food. And tagged chinese food. I wrote a great post two years ago about making. 粽子 for my first Dragon Boat Festival. Check it out (again). This year I was also invited to a friend’s house to make/eat. One of the students who helps foreign teachers at Yun Da, and is an all around great guy, invited me and two other teachers to his house. Water, Matt and Nick. While we sat and chatted, his mom made ten different dishes for dinner!

Just another WordPress.com site. A small island we visited on our boat tour. An interesting place with dozens of 串儿 (chuanr) barbequed meats, fish and other snacks. The avenue leading up to Dali's famous 3 pagodas. No closer shots because were were willing to pay the $20 entrance fee. One of the first meals we ate in Dali.
