Trying to find little spots of saneness in a not-so-sane world. March 31, 2012. March has been a super busy month for us. We finished up some major house projects, and ended with birthday celebrations galore. Below, we have Jack hangin’ on the couch with his Papa (balloon string in hand). Anna playing with her beloved Connectagons (fairy edition). Emily being her cute self, and Jack at a craft fair I went to with Rosy- there was a whole row of motorcycles- he was in heaven. Trying to find little spots of saneness in a not-so-sane world. November 7, 2011. Whoops. I’m behind. Lots of editing and uploading is in my future! September was wonderful. Sometimes I wish we could spell it “wonderFULL.” We were so excited that my parents were able to come visit. Before they came we enjoyed a visit to the Miniature Railroad Museum in Balboa Park. It reminded me of my Grandpa. This is what I was thinking:. Anna was really into putting on shows for us- she did several. We all had to ...

Trying to find little spots of saneness in a not-so-sane world. January 3, 2012. I’m so proud that I’m getting this up so soon after November’s post -woo hoo! December started just like any other month, but I remember very clearly when I put our new calendar up on the fridge there was a big twinkle in my eye when I started to write “fly to KC” on it. We were very excited to end the month with my family for Christmas! In a whirlwind of a weekend we found ourselves short one tenor sax and up one piano!

Trying to find little spots of saneness in a not-so-sane world. January 29, 2012. I haven’t taken nearly enough pictures yet this year. I say that in partial truth and partial humor- it’s only January! But I have been so busy trying to finish up loose ends before starting my new job this month. Yup! A new job- working from home, on the computer, and I love it. Something to work towards, lots of motivation, and I’m happy to be trying something a bit different. This cracks me UP. Emily makes this face ...

Trying to find little spots of saneness in a not-so-sane world. January 1, 2012. I hardly took any pictures this month, and I think it’s because somewhere in November I became obsessed with our closets. Seriously- I was possessed. Let’s start with Miss Em, shall we? She’s pushing up when on her tummy. I still get crazy looks when I tell people that I don’t do tummy time with our kids- they don’t need it! Lastly, Em is playing in her exersaucer- she loves it! Anna is still drawing up a storm. She is a...

https://somethingforsanity.wordpress.com/2012/03/31/february-2012
Trying to find little spots of saneness in a not-so-sane world. March 31, 2012. By far the best part of February was the birth of Carter Fuzak on February 14th! Yup- Jane had a Valentine Baby. Hopefully he likes red. Jane was, of course, amazing and endured a lot of stuff before having this little guy. I’m honored to have been present and so happy to see Jane’s family complete. Four boys- wowza! 8230;And also some face painting inspired by the zoo. Emily worked on trying to crawl most of February but did...

Trying to find little spots of saneness in a not-so-sane world. March 30, 2012. Man, oh MAN I’m behind! Here come some posts! Starting with our trip to Disneyland! Our trip got off to a rough start. Mental note: next time check to be sure there aren’t any MARATHONS the day of our visit. Sheesh. It took us two hours to just get from the freeway to the parking garage and into a parking spot. Talk about a lesson in patience! We will have another trip in the next year since Michael was able to appeal to Disn...

San Diego, Ca, United States. I spend most of my days being entertained by my two little buttercups. While they are not entertaining me, they are inspiring me to be a better mother, a better friend, and a better designer. Yes, I am thankful for my kids, but also my husband who has enabled me to have a lifestyle where I play all day long! I love exploring all types of media. Give me a paint brush, fabric, sewing machine, beads or even good glue, and I am a happy girl! View my complete profile.
