It was a unique and memorable event and was made even more memorable by the buckets and buckets of rain we received that weekend (practically the only time the entire summer we got any moisture! And eating some fabulous Puerto Rican food. We both left Puerto Rico in love with mofongo mashed plantains mixed with garlic, broth, and often pork or vegetables. So tasty! Friday, August 14, 2015. Friday morning we headed out to Roosevelt for My Grandpa Lynn's funeral. It was a beautiful service and I was so glad we were there. It was so fun to see all my family and celebrate Lynn Labrum. I'm named after him and I am his oldest Great Grandchild. I've always felt a special connection to him. Some days are better than others but I can say that we are trying our best and by best I mean sometimes we like to eat pizza and ice cream. Here is my most recent recipe I tried and it was a huge success! Give it a try and tell me what you think! First mix together the Gluten Free Flour Mix:. 1 teaspoon xanthan gum. 4 cups of oats.
