An (in)fertility journey as told through my eyes, heart and mind . Saturday, December 3, 2011. My heart feels heavy. Today marks the first day in our fertility struggle in which I have truly asked for His peace and rest. I prayed for the slicing ache to disappear. I prayed for my intense desire to bear biological children to cease. And I asked God to settle my fragile heart. It never crossed my mind to ask Him to take the pain away. Then at least I have. But I don't hate God. I'm not even angry with Him.

And what words lack and no logic can describe- joyous. Tears are streaming down my face. I'd like to share snippets of an email that I just received. I was gassing up my vehicle- and with sobs escaping my lips, tears outpouring and disbelief in my heart- I rushed home as fast as I could. This is truly God extending his grace.
