http://la-eileen.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2009. This is me airborne. At the park. I can jump five feet! This is Daddy's hippo. Do you like how everything is dark except for the hippo? I took this picture. It looks like the hippo is in a donut. This is a Nascar Sprint Cup Series racecar. It's the Memorial Day car. I painted it. All by myself. This is me and Cayleigh licking Cayleigh's birthday thingamajiggies. It was good! Hello from the birthday girl! Once it is fired the whole thing will be shin. Aiden says "This is. I think it ...

LA-Eileen: Who says we don't have seasons in So Cal?
http://la-eileen.blogspot.com/2009/12/who-says-we-dont-have-seasons-in-so-cal.html
Friday, December 11, 2009. Who says we don't have seasons in So Cal? When I got home from my run, still thinking about the seasons we "don't" have in So Cal, I thought, "Well, I'll probably never wake up to snow right out my front door.". However, if I drive 10 minutes. I hopped in my car and decided to take a little drive. Four minutes from my front door, I see the sign, "Entering National Forest.". Around the bend, I see that. Mt Baldy is straight ahead, Upland, right. Fog hides the mountain ahead.

Sunday, June 7, 2009. PUT THE COMPUTER DOWN NOW! Go get a nice hot cup of coffee before viewing this blog. You will need it! This is Grandma's Brag Book! This is Cayleigh, the birthday girl after eating at her favorite restaurant, Macaroni Grill! Another shot of the birthday girl by a nearby pond. Isn't she beautiful? The pond is pretty too. Here is the artist at work on her pottery. She started with a blank white tile. Scary! My "darling" grandchildren at a nearby park in Richmond Hill. Race me, Dad!

LA-Eileen: March 2009
http://la-eileen.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. Virginia is for Lovers. I just dropped and broke the handle off my very favorite coffee mug. It fits in my hand perfectly and holds just the right amount of coffee. It was a gift from my sister, Dorothy. She gave one to my sister, Janet, too. So it is more than a mug. It is a connection! Don't you hate breaking your favorite mug? Guess, this means I will have to come out to Virginia to get myself another one! Saturday, March 28, 2009. The desert is actually beautiful! Well, when I...

Enjoying life...: September 2014
http://deejayhall.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 4, 2014. It is really incredible that I haven't stopped at the farm across the street from my office before this weekend. Lauren suggested we go and pick apples and peaches so we did! The peaches were so good! It is toward the end of the season so we had to go toward the back of the orchard but the peaches were big and sweet! Off the find the Galas and pears. The apple trees were loaded! Lauren climbed for the best picks. Decided on a fresh peach pie with vanillla ice cream. Yum!

Monday, May 26, 2014. The weather was beautiful this weekend! The kids were home and we were able to celebrate a birthday for John. Chocolate cake with chocolate icing! Little E was cool in her new shades. Adorable! Sunday we met with Bob and Patty Stratton at Sunset Hills Winery. It was a very pleasant afternoon and a beautiful place to walk around, have a picnic and catch up on the latest in everyone's lives. Oh my gosh, it is hard to keep your eyes off her! Lauren gets a big smile. He is so cute!

http://deejayhall.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 23, 2015. Its a wonderful life when you get to be a part of moments like these. Happy Birthday Eleanor - two years old! Saturday, August 8, 2015. I spent a few days in Colorado and enjoyed seeing big sky and big mountains again. It was so nice to get out of my regular routine and focus on enjoying my surroundings. This was at the Rocky Mountain National Park, just outside of Estes Park. This girl played violin and her mom the guitar. Very impressive. I even saw a moose while there!

Enjoying life...: April 2015
http://deejayhall.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 5, 2015. Katie and Chris had to work and their daycare was closed for vacation. Lucky for Gramma! I drove down Monday night to be there at 7 am when Chris gets ready to leave. Katie had left for work long before! What a beautiful smile to wake up to. She pushed Maynard around for a while, colored and helped me with some cleaning. Then out for some playtime in the back yard. We decided to take Maynard for a walk. It was a beautiful day. She is such a big girl now! She is all over that park.

Sunday, December 28, 2008. Dorothy, I will try it. Give it a try. How did it work? If anyone can tell me how to link to other blogs, please kindly send me directions. Thank you. The brothers part ways. At least I thought I did. Can't find the links now. Time to take Tucker out for a walk! This is what happens when you try to introduce a cat to a new dog. Here Mom, you hold the dog now. Matthew and Katie invited all four of their parents out to lunch yesterday to meet each other. Matt's treat! I tried tak...
