Fri, Dec. 19th, 2003, 06:35 pm. So I have finally begun my European tour, which due to time constraints will not cover that much of Europe, but I realy can t complain. I love Barcelona so far (then again, I ve realized that I love almost every place I have ever traveled to, so maybe more than anything I love traveling). I have been to the Picasso Museum, Sacrada Familia (church)and several of Gaudi s houses (look them up online, they are really cool looking). I ll write more later if I get the chance.

Today hasn t been particularly exciting. I went to bed early last night because I was still exhausted from the trip, and because I couldn t form coherent sentances in Spanish anymore. A Few Questions about Americorps. Hello all - I am 28 years old, living in the Chicagoland region. My family thinks I am crazy, but I think that I might apply for Americorps. I have a few questions, and I would greatly appreciate any help. 1 There are some programs that I am interested in that are still taking applications, but the end date shows that the program will end soon. Does this mean that another year long program will start? 3 What kind of notice do they give you before the program starts?

What is the likelihood that a principal in the area could take my lesson plans and apply for a VISTA to come to their school and work the program, and that I could take on the position, work the year, and be applying for grant funding throughout the year?
