Situated just south of the Santa Cruz, between the town. This is the most developed of La Palma's black beach resorts. Originally an area of salt pans it became disused in the 1980s and was redeveloped for tourism. Today the black beaches are protected by man made, but naturally styled, rock barriers and the village has developed with resorts, hotels and facilities for the tourists.
