Reading is magical

Thursday, 27 November 2014. Book Week - Even More Looking Back. Lacock Primary School took part in a book week from 10. November. Book week was organised to encourage people to read more and to raise money for ill children in need. Everyone was involved: staff, governors, parents and of course pupils! They were allowed to come for book swap, big read, book fair and a gallery. I am excited about getting new books for our school library and seeing how much money we raised altogether. Thank you Mrs White.

Reading is magical: Book Week - Some of Our Writing

http://www.lacockreading.blogspot.com/2014/11/blog-post_18.html

Tuesday, 18 November 2014. Book Week - Some of Our Writing. We are trying out some of the other things we can do when blogging. Please listen to the audio clips of children reading their work which was written in response to the story of the Mousehole Cat. The children wrote from the view point of the Storm Cat, imagining what they would do to Old Tom's fishing boat. Your browser does not support this audio. Your browser does not support this audio. Thursday, 27 November 2014. Book Week - Looking Back Some More. November Lacock Primary School took part in book week. B. Efore long there was a buzz about reading for the pupils, staff, parents and governors. Book week was to encourage the children to read more and to let them be absorbed in a book. I enjoyed lots of activities during book week, but my highlights were the most interesting so that’s what I’m going to focus on. Also don’t forget about world book day on 5. Reading is magical: Book Week - Looking Back Further

http://www.lacockreading.blogspot.com/2014/11/book-week-looking-back-further.html

Thursday, 27 November 2014. Book Week - Looking Back Further. Children from Lacock primary school have been taking part in a book week. It lasted from the 10th of November to the 14. Personally my favourite part was dressing up because we got to show the rest of the school our costumes, of our favourite book characters and show our friends what they looked like.
