Monday, December 13, 2010. December is here and we are counting down the days until we fly South. This year it has been even harder waiting for the holidays to arrive. Niamh. Has grown and changed so much and we can't wait to get home to our families and show her off. I know everyone back home can hardly wait to see this little princess and hold her in their arms. Here are a few photos to hold you off until our arrival :). Dressed up like Michael Jackson for one of our dinner parties. Каждому полезно буд...

PRESS DARLINGS: November
http://pressdarlings.blogspot.com/2010/11/november.html
Saturday, November 27, 2010. The month of November is almost over and what a busy one it was. Giving daddy a hug and kiss. She is definitely. Heading outdoors for a walk in the sun. She loves going for walks, and will often try to put on her suit herself. Wearing a baby amuatik. Playing with mom. She is just so much fun! Finally at the end of the day she gets all tuckered out from her hard day at play. I could just stare at her all night :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The North so far.

PRESS DARLINGS: The North so far.....
http://pressdarlings.blogspot.com/2010/11/north-so-far.html
Friday, November 19, 2010. The North so far. We have returned and settled back in to the groove of things. Time has passed and before we knew Christmas is only 1 month away. I guess it is high time we posted an update on what we have been up to these past months. Our trip back North was an adventure to say the least. It started out like any other day of travel, and we made it in one piece. However once there we received. Word that it was foggy in Wakeham. As the plane had a broken piece. She made herself...

Monday, March 24, 2008. In February Kangiqsujuaq held a mens hockey tournament. It was a friendly tournament, involving three teams from here and one team from neighboring village Salluit. Neil and his team played hard for three days straight. Neil dancing around the opposition. Lydia Kristensen cheering on her father, who was on Neil's team. I teach her older brother and sister. Two of my students, Qipitaq and Alasie. Best friends. Two little girls wanted to have their picture taken too! Bingo halls dem...

PRESS DARLINGS: May 2007
http://pressdarlings.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 21, 2007. The Polar Bear :(. About a month ago we walked outside and we came face to face with a polar bear. Unfortunatly, for the bear, it was dead. The week before a fellow teacher was out at her camp, when her husband spotted the polar bear near by and shot it in self protection. The skin of that bear was now being hung out to dry. As sad as this sight was, we knew this was probably our only chance to see a polar bear. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Polar Bear :(. View my complete profile.

PRESS DARLINGS: September 2007
http://pressdarlings.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 03, 2007. This summer Sayard and I made a special trip to Chicago for music, theater, baseball and . Sayard got her wish to see the musical Wicked. Based on the book of the same name it tells the "real" story of the witch of the west. We discovered this quaint little courtyard, which was attached to a very old Church on the Magnificent Mile. A view of the Chicago River. The Water Tower, the only building to survive the Chicago Fire, making it the oldest building in the city. A year off ...
