http://dallininreallife.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Updates on my life, observations about the world around me, and the occasional rant. Saturday, March 20, 2010. This weekend I went on a road trip with my travel group. or at least, part of it. The carpools met up and got to the rendez-vous point in good time, and without incident. Starting off on the right foot there. Our rendez-vous point was the Taco Cabana in Lewisville. So we all went to sleep in a freezing cold house in already-slept-in-by-some-stranger beds. When everyone else woke up and decided t...

Campbell's Soup for Four: July 2011
http://soupfor4.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Campbell's Soup for Four. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. So what's the problem with that? Inherently, nothing. It's actually a pretty cool concept, like the Library of Alexandria without the worry about fire. My hangup is that humanity has been pretty poor about choosing what to keep forever. Rather than choose, it's just easier to keep everything and why not? Storage is cheap and there seems to be no limit to what we can store. I know he wouldn't mind me using one of his messages to make a quick point. Would h...

Updates on my life, observations about the world around me, and the occasional rant. Friday, March 18, 2011. So yesterday at the end of the day at work, my team lead says to me: "Dallin you need to limit your internet time - people are saying things". Numbers expressed in "items processed". Employee 1.36 (this is one of the ones I suspect probably said something). Employee 3.43 (this is also a suspected tattler). Hmmm would you look at that? Sounds like some bitches need to keep their damn mouths shut.

Dallin's Funworld!: April 2013
http://dallininreallife.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Updates on my life, observations about the world around me, and the occasional rant. Thursday, April 11, 2013. Why you shouldn't eat before working out. When you eat, your blood goes to the stomach to carry away nutrients from the digestion of food and store it for use later. When you work out, your blood is diverted to your muscles to carry away wastes (like CO2) and bring in oxygen and fuel. So when your mom said you can't go swimming directly after eating, it was likely this reason at the heart of the...

Dallin's Funworld!: November 2008
http://dallininreallife.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Updates on my life, observations about the world around me, and the occasional rant. Sunday, November 30, 2008. Just got back from a fun and relaxing vacation to Arizona for Thanksgiving. Here's a quick recap of events. Thanksgiving day itself was lots of fun. Lana and her kids and I all got up early and went to see Porter, Eric, and Dixie compete in a triathlon. I DID bring my camera with me that day - so you can see my pictures on Facebook. Friday, November 14, 2008. Long time no post. It's been almost...
