PARTNER the Partnership for AiR Transportation Noise and Emissions Reduction completed its mission as an aviation cooperative research organization in December 2015. An FAA Center of Excellence, PARTNER was sponsored by the FAA, NASA, Transport Canada, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Dean of the MIT School of Engineering, was the director. Similar work is now being conducted by ASCENT. PARTNER comprised 12 universities. And approximately 50 advisory board.
