Locusts and Honeys: Movie Theater Drama
http://jonthebaptist.blogspot.com/2008/02/movie-theater-drama.html
Sunday, February 17, 2008. I have had two bad experiences at my local movie theater - rude service, ridiculously cold temperatures, and poor display of customer service. I wrote an e-mail to the company. I accused them of taking advantage of their position in the area as the only movie theater offering more than one movie screen and therefore charging patrons an exoborent amount of money. The seats don't even recline people! I got my reply back yesterday and I will be mailed two tickets as an apology.

Locusts and Honeys: Brangelina
http://jonthebaptist.blogspot.com/2008/02/brangelina.html
Tuesday, February 05, 2008. You know how it's the "thing" to merge celebrity names together to make them one entity? Well how about JonMere? You know like Jon Mayer the singer? I mean it would work if Meredith and I were celebrities. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Locusts and Honeys: Concerts
http://jonthebaptist.blogspot.com/2008/02/concerts.html
Sunday, February 10, 2008. However, there are two other musical "events" that I really would like to see. The first would be Leslie Hall who I showed you a couple posts ago. I think I would pee my pants from the ridiculousness. The other is an Air Guitar competition. I watched a two hour documentary on Air Guitar last night on VH1 and found it enthralling. So in conclusion, I must see:. An Air Guitar Competition (Possibly the world championship in Finland). I think that is a very attainable list.

Locusts and Honeys: Reading Habits
http://jonthebaptist.blogspot.com/2008/02/reading-habits.html
Saturday, February 23, 2008. I have been known to be sitting in my room reading Jane Eyre while listening to Radiohead. I had to admit that to someone at the time because they had called me and asked, "What are you doing? I don't lie and figured that it was a ridiculous sight and told that person the truth. Currently, I can be found reading Henry James novellas while listening to historical recordings of the Marine Band (not marches - the classically stuff). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Locusts and Honeys: Update
http://jonthebaptist.blogspot.com/2008/05/update.html
Sunday, May 04, 2008. I still teach math (hopefully for only two more weeks) but I actually understand what I'm teaching and more often than not I understand it better than my students. I still do not have a job, but it's early. I have not gotten an interview yet but I did send out four applications last week. Maybe I'll hear back from someone (in a positive way) soon. I'm looking forward to summer and all of its possibilities. I'm starting to make plans of things to do with friends already.

Locusts and Honeys: Factor this (4x^2+16x+2)
http://jonthebaptist.blogspot.com/2008/04/factor-this-4x216x2.html
Tuesday, April 01, 2008. Factor this (4x 2 16x 2). I'm taking a "longer" term math substitute position for the next 6-8 weeks. Because it's not technically a long term position (45 days) the district was not legally bound to find a certified mathematics teacher. As a result I was the most "qualified". This will be a fun and educational time, well as long as everyone (ahem.students) cooperate, which I'm sensing some of them will not willingly. Unfortunately for them, I am in charge of their grades.

Locusts and Honeys: Library Sale
http://jonthebaptist.blogspot.com/2008/05/library-sale.html
Sunday, May 04, 2008. I start sifting through the boxes and start exclaiming loudly, "Who the heck in Smethport read this? When I found a book on Pope John Paul II entirely in Spanish, a Latin American Literature anthology, again completely in Spanish, a book on African American studies, a book on the dialects of Germanic languages (I actually bought that one) and a book on homosexuality in France. Very odd selection and I'm positive they were from different donors. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Locusts and Honeys: The End
http://jonthebaptist.blogspot.com/2008/06/end.html
Tuesday, June 17, 2008. This is post will be the last for Locusts and Honeys. I've decided that I will begin a new blog when the next stage in my life begins - my first year of teaching. As a result this blog must be put to rest, but with sorrow. This blog has been my journal for the past five years. Because of this, I have saved my posts and am in the process of formatting them for printing in my very own book through lulu.com. My heart is saddened. I got a job! twentytwoandahalf: It's happening...
http://twentytwoandahalf.blogspot.com/2012/10/its-happening.html
Well yeah that too. WINTER is happening. I mean fall is barely over, BUT I know winter is just around the corner. I have literally been wanting to go to The Johnson Woolen Mills. To stock up on flannel (for the record, I don't actually have any real flannel, but it will happen someday). Let's forget the sub zero temps, feet of snow, and other negative things and focus on the positive. Men grow beards. Can I get an amen? Posted by .meredith. I DO remember, however, there was a section on chest hair.
