Im Jahr 1954 kehrte mein Grossvater Willy Zürcher in sein Elternhaus, einem kleinen Bauernhaus am Nägeligässli 7 zurück, nachdem seine Eltern gestorben waren. Einem Brenner kaufte er die Brenn-Konzession samt fahrbarer Brennerei ab. Er fing selber an zu brennen und zog mit seiner Brennerei von Dorf zu Dorf.

Im Jahr 2000 brannte mein Onkel seinen ersten Whisky und liess ihn während drei Jahren in einem Oloroso-Sherry-Fass reifen. Daraus wurde ein hervorragender Single Malt, der viele Liebhaber fand und im Nu ausverkauft war. Jedes Jahr gibt es eine neue Abfüllung mit mindestens 3-jährigem Whisky. Unser Single Lakeland Malt Whisky ist ein feiner, harmonischer Whisky mit ausgeprägten Sherry-, Malz und Holzaromen. Und nach und nach wird es weitere Spezialabfüllungen geben, lassen Sie sich überraschen!
