They don't. (It was the AP TV news report from the beach after the incident.) But it does seem a poor choice of words. Posted by Grand Marnier. http://thegrandmarnier.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 01, 2008. 12 years ago I stood in a line to cast my first vote ever for President of the United States. It was exciting and a little anti-climactic. I remember thinking both thoughts like "That's it? No one congratulating me for finally being old enough and caring enough to vote? I am finally old enough to help decide who is going to run this country! So will turnout be better this year? Will the young people vote? Posted by Grand Marnier. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://thegrandmarnier.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 13, 2008. I have been an RN now for a little over six months, and off orientation for almost four of those. It's been a turbulent, exhausting, exhilarating time. Saturday, September 29, 2007. I haven't been this obsessed since The X-Files.
