Su zona de mayor relevancia vinícola fue sin duda Pompeya, donde estaban los mejores viñedos. Pero después de su destrucción tuvieron que comenzar a importar vinos de la Galia y de Hispania ( concretamente de Rioja y Andalucía).

La mesa de Silvia. Martes, 20 de noviembre de 2012. No olvides tu sonrisa. Hace ya años desde la última vez que la vi pero nunca se ha borrado de mi su recuerdo. Puede que mi madera ya no crezca con los años, ni nudo tras nudo en mi interior se marquen mis experiencias sin embargo su recuerdo sigue impregnado en mi.
