Friday, May 7, 2010. Can't Change the background. So, it's obvious that I'm having problems with the blog lately. I can't change the background from my laptop unless I upgrade my browser. And well, truthfully, since it is a work laptop, I'm not allowed to do that. So, we just have to deal with Halloween until I can get to Vern's laptop. Hopefully that will be soon! Saturday, February 26, 2011. So lately I have been thinking alot about being mom to 5 of the most. Young women I have ever known! I don't take credit, they truly. That being said, I have thought a lot about when they were younger and how much I miss having them around. Cassie and Alex have become Moms themselves and I. Them both. They are different in their approaches, yet very similar. They are both so. I really don't know where they learned that. Her favorite place to be was. Alex was so different!

Friday, March 27, 2009. It's been a while since I've posted anything. Not much happens in the life of an "old" married couple. Let's see in February.hmm.we rested from December and January activities. Riley stayed overnight with us on Valentine's day. That was wicked fun. Katie went to a dance and Taylor focused on Karate. Taylor was made an "assistant instructor" in karate, she is getting pretty good and is very helpful. I have great kids! Oh, my van died! I can't wait to see her. Welcome to our blog...

Saturday, February 26, 2011. New Phone again - funny. So the week after I got my new phone, I was informed by ADP that I would be getting a "new phone". ADP is getting me a black berry. I just ordered it yesterday. I really hate the idea of carrying two phones around. I have now turned into such a nerd. I'll probably carry both for awhile. but if I find that I don't use either very often, I may have a nice (fun) android up for grabs. :) We will have to see how it goes. February 28, 2011 at 4:08 PM.

Wednesday, January 5, 2011. So it was a very strange year for the Vern Houst family. we had good and we had bad! In October Vern, Taylor, and I went back to Kentucky for Koston's blessing and it was a marvelous time. Then Jack was blessed in November over Thanksgiving while Chelsea and Stu were here. Grandma moved in with us in November. We have really enjoyed having her with us. (Way better than in an apartment next door to the recent Bountiful Murder! Christmas was a little wierd!
