I am not an emotional eater . anymore. Monday, October 10, 2011. This is my week. Generally, if I am not blogging it is not a good sign! It usually means I feel guilty about something. ;). The past few weeks haven't been that bad though; just really busy. I have been struggling badly with sugar cravings recently, so I'm going to try taking chromium, which is supposed to balance out your blood sugar and help combat sugar cravings. If I know a few within easy cycling distance, I can try to make a habit of going there with my youngest after taking the older two to school. I am not an emotional eater . anymore. Monday, January 31, 2011. Yesterday was like one of those good news/bad news comics. I rolled over and turned off my alarm at 6am instead of going for a run. I found time to go for a run at 4pm instead. I didn't run as far (only 3km) because I don't think my body likes afternoon runs as much as morning ones. I am not an emotional eater . anymore. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. So one of the awesome Perth Crew members threw down the challenge - 4km in 20 minutes using intervals. I like a challenge, and I can argue that this kind of running is not incompatible with Lean and Strong - it builds strength! I bumped up the intervals to 14.2/11.2. 11.2 is about the pace at which I can run a half-marathon so I figured it was manageable. I am sore, but I can do this. I AM doing this! I am not an emotional eater . anymore. Sunday, March 27, 2011. That was hard work! But I did it. The 6km was actually 6.5, and I did it in 35.55, keeping up an average pace of around 5.30/km, which is pretty fast for me. I was second female across the line, too!
