What's New in Version 2. The East Cascades of Oregon region is now an option under site selection. LandCarb is now parameterized to simulate climate, management history and wildfire regimes for the East Cascades of Oregon. Secondary regime types are now available for landscape historical and future management regimes. Regimes are now divided into 'Management' and 'Natural Disturbance' groups. Default management histories are now differentiated by region and ownership selected on the site selection page.

4 Future Land-use Management. Run Landscape Level Simulation. This allows one to analyze how disturbance and management influence the carbon stores and flows of a forest landscape. By landscape level we mean an area of ground that has a mixed disturbance and land-use history. When running the calculator in this mode the net impact of multiple simultaneous actions can be assessed. Disturbance and land-use regimes may also be defined separately.
