Just won the first round. Dialed a 6.78 quarter mile elapsed time and ran a 6.784. Pascal had a reaction time of 0.003 seconds. They move on to the second run. L and L Racing Engines’. NHRA Top Dragster Racing Blog. Laquo; Best Run This Year! Time to Rest for Tomorrow. 3rd round is over. And we ran a 6.743 @ 198 mph. It was expected. The crew chief predicted 6.733. So pretty close. Track temperature got hotter and the air is less dense. Dom didn’t expect ground breaking records on this pass. L&L Racing Engines qualify 9th after the first round of qualifying. Dom has a couple of tricks up his sleeve to improve their quarter mile time from 6.79 to hopefuly 6.73 or better. It is a very simple trick. It’s called “Give it more Fuel”. The motor is thirsty and needs fuel to be at it’s best. See you at the track. Feed You can leave a response. From your own site.

Loose head bolts on Friday and rain on Saturday kept L&L Racing Engines to one qualifying run Saturday Morning. The run was respectable; 6.829 sec @ 196.53 mph. Which places them 19th out of 32 cars. But in bracket racing it quickly kills a dream on Sunday. There are not many days when L&L Racing Engines wished their Top Dragster would run slow, but Sunday morning was the day.
