Adventures of a Homesteading City Girl: A New To-Do
http://organic-gardening-adventures.blogspot.com/2014/03/a-new-to-do.html
Saturday, March 8, 2014. This list is always changing as I am always thinking of more ways to improve our house and yard. Plant a fruit paradise in the front yard. Paint Bedroom taupe/grey and have a corresponding color theme throughout room. Paint the kitchen light blue. Build corner shelves for the living room. Because lets face it you can NEVER have enough shelf space, especially when you have an unhealthy addiction to books. Create a flagstone patio by our rocket stove. What to plant in April (zone 9).

You can make your own soap for pennies on the dollar! All these items were found in the cleaning/laundry aisle of our local supermarket. The expensive ingredients will last you many batches. I am guessing but you can most likely get 6 batches out of each box. 1/2 cup washing soda * $5 for one large box*. 1/2 cup borax powder * $4 for a box*.

Thursday, March 14, 2013. I love our animals around here. The bunnies, chickens, and of course our kitty! I was tired of so many walkways in the gardens, there was really no reason for it and caused a lot of water wasting when the sprinkler was turned on. So we combined garden beds! We also moved the bunny area to a new location so they wouldn't get spooked when people came and went. This also allows us a little more room to add a new bunny cages! Sunday, March 10, 2013. Book Review: Farm Anatomy. She is...
