Enjoying the Passage of Time. Sunday, November 7, 2010. I'm reminded that the song is true, "Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got till it's gone." Wouldn't it be terrible if we couldn't speak? We had stake conference today and I was surprised how disconnected I felt because I couldn't communicate. I'll try to remember when I'm having a bad day but still have my voice that life is good. For now - I'm thankful for this blog where I can still speak! Lanette - Never Give Up!

Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Okay, well anyway. On with my story. But it didn't. They did indeed turn out perfect in the crock pot. That part is for sure. But there was one problem. They were still sweet potatoes. Which neither one of us like. Did I mention that? Those notes and the ensuing laughter are some of the BEST parts of my life. Jake and Katie Freeze. Wednesday, June 6, 2012. A couple weekends ago Jake's family and I were lucky enough to walk/run in a 5k honoring families that have lost children! My mother in law works for the foundation at Utah Valley hospital and she helped put this event together. This was also a personal event for her because years ago she gave birth to a still born baby and named him Luke! It was emotional for all of us but it was a great event to be apart of as a family! It was a blast! Only 8 more weeks!
