I think it took me less than 5 minutes to create an exercise that will be fun and challenge for all the students in class, the weaker and stronger ones. There was a time when I had to listen with intent but now it’s just a low lying process that occurs somewhere in the back yard. Of course my spoken German is still riddled with errors born of indolence and lack of concern but it’s definitely getting there. So far, I’ve been combining it with Duolingo – who finally manged to add Turkish to their iOS app – and Turkish National radio 1.
