Na een rondleiding op het grondgebied van onze gastheer, en na het aanhoren van al z’n megalomane plannen (deze man heeft minstens drie levens nodig), vertrekken we naar de national historic site. Van L’Anse-aux-Meadows. (getankt 50 CAD). Hier geven drie gereconstrueerde huizen een indrukwekkend beeld van de levensomstandigheden van de eerste inwoners van Newfoundland.
