Durango voters overwhelmingly approved a bond issue Tuesday that will allow the city to bond $17.5 million for the reconstruction of Florida Road. The vote was one of the more decisive results from the La Plata County ballot, with 5,607 votes, or 76.26 percent in favor and 1,745 against for 23.74 percent.
