Well, my blogging hasn't been so hot lately. In fact, it has been pretty despicable. Speaking of despicable, I heard I HAVE to see the film Despicable Me. That's on the 'movies to see' list. How about a preview of the blog posts you'll be seeing over the next days and weeks (have to give myself a deadline or it may not happen.)?

At 5,280 feet, Denver is known as the "Mile-High City." and we no longer live there.but I am working on it- Promise! Tuesday, May 3, 2011. January 29, 2011. We went skiing with 2 of Curt's co-workers (Leo and Tom) one Saturday. Unfortunately the snow in Switzerland hasn't been great since, well, December. Villars is at a very low elevation and it was interesting to ride lifts across the mud on our way to ski. The base elevation is 3,937 feet and the summit 6,890. It felt like spring skiing.

What a blessing to have Candice and Tim come visit us! Truly- everything about their trip was an absolute miracle: timing, cost, etc. Some of my favorite times were hanging out in our apartment, talking and eating good food. We also got to do some "touristy" things together:. What was a gorgeous way to watch the sunset!

Today I was ironing and realized how much I am like my mom. I was listening to Les Miserables (Original London Cast, of course) and singing while I ironed. I can remember my mom listening to her Les Mis record while she cleaned in our home in West Valley, and I also remember her watching/listening to her Les Mis 10th Anniversary Dream Cast film. Visit # 2 from Mom.
