Roundtrip Night and Day. Anamorphotic installation that a user can experience by driving an interactive camera car through it. A project of INTERPOL - Interdisciplinary Studios. My contribution to the project was mainly conceiving the design and functionality of the small stations and anamorphoses. Subsequently I was also overseeing the installations' four week setting-up phase. A project documentation can be found on INTERPOL -'s website.

Site-specific intervention for a tree and its (augmented) shadow. In cooperation with Riccardo Torresi. Falling is a minimalist yet playful intervention on how to interweave physical and virtual realities. In the installation, light is projected onto a birch tree, casting a shadow on the wall behind it. Without any further comment, a handle hangs down from the treetop on a chain.

Dynamic Data Visualisation Object. Cinema’s Voice Vectors is an object that visualizes the audio-visual synthesis which happens in a viewer’s perception when he is watching a movie in a movie theatre. Glowing glass rods peek through a screen everywhere an actor’s mouth would be at any time in a two-minute excerpt of Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane . The length of the glass rods correlates to the actor’s distance to the camera respectively the screen.

Site-specific audiovisual installation using an interrogation room. In cooperation with Anja Kerschkewicz. The installation was situated on the backyard of an underground club. From the basement, techno beats and party noise resound up to where people around the installation are having loud conversations. A visitor entering the completely dark room takes seat on a single chair, puts on the headphones and starts to listen.

The artwork consist of a chain and a handle connected to a sensor fixed on a tree. A projector is used as a spot light to reveal the plant as it was exposed to an analog source of light. When the viewer pull the handle, the shadow of falling leaves is projected on the wall, simulating a real seasonal fall. The all system is controlled by a set up of an Arduino board and a computer.
