FormFarm: December 2008
http://formfarm.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 28, 2008. The following images show the development of a surface modeling tool in grasshopper to create different aperture patterns based on the proximity to surface curves. The directionality of the surface projections are based on the vector from surface uv points and a common endpoint. The dimpled surface pattern is intended to be used for acoustic purposes. Friday, March 28, 2008. Our Cells responding to a pool condition. Moving forward we want the landscape cells to establishing a new topographic condition as opposed to latching on to the ground and vaulting the structure and volume cells above the existing landscape. FormFarm: origami surface
http://formfarm.blogspot.com/2009/02/origami-surface.html
Tuesday, February 3, 2009. This comment has been removed by the author. November 12, 2009 at 2:18 PM. Hi, Im a student at GSAPP and I came across your blog, FormFarm. Im actually working on a rigid origami surface for a facade idea, ultimately intended for fabrication. Would you consider sharing the grasshopper script you developed which accounts for hinge connections between panels? Starr - ksl2106@columbia.edu. November 12, 2009 at 2:19 PM. Monday, February 25, 2008. Proliferated Cells on a Volumetric Substrate. The Cilla Cells are now weaving together to create a network for future proliferation of cells, or at a larger scale circulation. This Series shows the delicate nature of the connections between cells. There seems to be potential for using the resulting fenestrations in an architectural context. Sunday, February 24, 2008. FormFarm: In Development
http://formfarm.blogspot.com/2009/03/in-development.html
Sunday, March 15, 2009. Below are images for a project in development. I have used grasshopper in Rhino to create a weave generator tool that can be applied to any surface. As of now the pattern consists of a simple over and under logic but can be updated to allow for different methods of woven structures. This is great stuff. Will you be sharing your finds at any point in the future? December 2, 2013 at 8:32 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Processing Work Fall 2007.

FormFarm: grasshopper contour tool
http://formfarm.blogspot.com/2008/10/grasshopper-contour-tool.html
Monday, October 6, 2008. Below are images of a project I have been developing at work to create a sectioning tool with the rhino plugin grasshopper. The model generates a contoured model of any object with the grain of the contours determined by a control line. Gaps between contours are also part of the model logic.
