Doing the hair of a constantly wiggly toddler is not an easy task, but I decided to attempt braiding Kyra's hair this morning. For my first time, and considering that she was moving around throughout the entire process, I think I did a fairly decent job. With a little practice, I think this will be an adorable new hairstyle for Kyra! Her hair just keeps growing and growing!

Tuesday, April 17, 2012. A Fun Mommy-Daughter Morning. Kyra and I had a fun morning at the Irvine Spectrum splash fountain today. Kyra calls it the "raindrop fountain." Kyra enjoyed playing in the water, but I think she's still getting used to it. She just took it easy and wanted to stand in it and slowly move through it, as opposed to some of the other kids that were running around like crazy! She will never get any arguments from me on that! This time around, the penguins were swimming all over the place, but weren't very interested in posing for pictures on the little ledge where kids can walk/crawl underneath.
