Wednesday, March 11, 2015. I can't be the only one who enjoys walking into my local facsimile of a traditional pub and ordering a Black Velvet, Black and Tan, Snake Bite, or what-have-you. In fact, this is pretty much the only reason I'd venture to one of these pubs. Well, that's not totally true. In a small town, usually you have your choice of two bars: the Sports Bar and the Faux Pub. The Faux Pub will usually have the better beer.
