Pernie Fallon - About the Artist
http://studioduendegallery.com/about
Known for her powerful and intense color work, Pernie Fallon’s impressionistic pastel paintings of fierce landscapes are vivid and painterly. But on closer examination, there are qualities that are not so obvious on the surface. Fallon’s paintings transcend the beauty of place with unexpected emotion, movement, and life. Most recently, Fallon has added oil painting to her repertoire. Painting from life, she has a fondness for capturing the mood and the moment in time of her models or her surroundin...

The Road Back to Him | Kaye's Tumbling Tumbleweeds

Kaye’s Tumbling Tumbleweeds. Just another WordPress.com weblog. The Road Back to Him. We still have the 45! I like to think that our loved ones in heaven do know what’s going on down here–anyone agree with me? My excuse was that I’m doing okay. I’m not doing anything I shouldn’t, I know I’m going to heaven when I die. In other words, it wasn’t a priority. I began to get convicted about Cody not being in church so I did what every other good parent does right? I sent him to church on the church bus! I am ...

About this blog | Kaye's Tumbling Tumbleweeds
https://kayestumblingtumbleweeds.wordpress.com/about
Kaye’s Tumbling Tumbleweeds. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Tumbling is the skill, practice or sport of executing gymnastic feats (as somersaults and handsprings) without the use of an apparatus. A tumbleweed is a plant that breaks away from its roots in the autumn and is driven about by the wind as a light rolling mass. I am so proud of you, my baby daughter! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. A Family’s Influence | Kaye's Tumbling Tumbleweeds

Kaye’s Tumbling Tumbleweeds. Just another WordPress.com weblog. A Family’s Influence. God knew exactly what He was doing. Doesn’t He always? He was leading me one footstep at a time down a path I would have never imagined I would ever experience. Now that I look back on it, it reminds me of the poem Footprints in the Sand , for that was exactly what was taking place in my life. I’m going to re-wind here in the story a little. My papa had died suddenly in 1977 while away in. An RV camp with lots of friends.

Kaye’s Tumbling Tumbleweeds. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Proud to be a Texan. Have you ever been out west? I mean, just in Texas? My rebellion began early at the age of three when my favorite “underdrawers”, “panteloons” okay, OKAY–panties, with RUFFLES on the back were in the dirty clothes hamper. I really wanted to wear them to church that Sunday morning. After all, they were my favorites (so glad I grew out of that), all I can say is she should. Comments : 4 Comments. Kaye’s Tumbling Tumbleweeds. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Dedicated to the One I Love. I was very blessed to have been born into a Christian family. My earliest memories were of going to church in Lubbock Texas at Harwell Heights Baptist Church. Jeana, my sister, was 6 years older and Ray was 18 months older than me. In February of 1960, at the age of 8, I gave my life to Jesus. As I was walking down the aisle to go tell the pastor, my Grandmother Vickery shouted, Hallelujah! Some of my sweetest me...

Kaye’s Tumbling Tumbleweeds. Just another WordPress.com weblog. An Angel in the Elevator. Someone once said dynamite comes in small packages. I say. Angels come in small packages too. You’ve all seen them some time or another. Mine was small in stature but had a huge heart. He had snow white hair and a twinkle in his eye. He reminded me of a little elf. I felt so guilty, so inadequate. Why did He have me here? If only Papa were here. He’d know what to do……. Strength; they shall mount up with wings as eag...

Kaye’s Tumbling Tumbleweeds. Just another WordPress.com weblog. What Is and Isn’t Important. Danny, the boys and I loaded up and moved into Lubbock, now it was time to find a job and a sitter for Nick. We had a really bad experience with a babysitter for Cody years back and I was terrified. Here is where God was probably shaking His head and saying, You silly child, I have it all taken care of, trust me . I loved taking care of her. I began to wonder if I should be in nursing school or in hospice care.
