Ski Jump Party.". This party happens every year. Hundreds of ski bums gather at a ski-bum chalet. In the middle of nowhere. We all pack our cars equipped. In the Mind of Trish. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. After getting run out of the desert by rain, we hid out for a night at the Escalante. Outfitters and planned our backpacking trip. We were out four days and three nights walking along the Escalante. River It was a spectacular trip! And used them as rafts. The desert was in full bloom while Kelly was there.
