Welcome to Brad's online memory archives. Snowy Sunday (again) →. March 1, 2015. Denis’ friend Marjorie had a baby! The baby’s name is Gabriel. Yesterday I went along with Denis to the hospital for a visit. Gabriel was incredibly cute. He had such fuzzy hair. He was also very alert. He seemed to be looking around the room a lot, and when he did, he furrowed his brow. Marjorie kept rubbing it, trying to smooth it out. It made me smile. Clip more than once. Nowhere Near the Kitchen. This is a blog about me and my activities, not soup to nuts though because I don't go near the kitchen. Sunday, May 24, 2015. Basal Cell Cancer is a Bummer. I had the second basal cell on my cheek in the same location so the doctor recommended MOHS surgery. I had no idea it was involve as much as it did. I hear I won't have any scar at all but I am really sceptical. I really am not worried about scarring just a little surprised. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I Have a Cat.

Kurt Knecht: What great musical education looks like
http://kurtknecht.blogspot.com/2015/03/what-great-musical-education-looks-like.html
Wednesday, March 25, 2015. What great musical education looks like. I had another opportunity to find great musical education happening this week. This time, to my great delight, it was my oldest son Zach. He is the executive director of the Academy of Rock here in Lincoln, and I had the chance to watch him work with some middle school boys. After hearing them play, he immediately complimented them on what they did well. This is a great best practice for any young educator. 1 Quickly assess the problem.

Kurt Knecht: December 2014

Wednesday, December 24, 2014. 2014 Christmas Carol Mashups #11. One of my favorites came from Malorie Winberg. She asked for a Berstein "Here comes Santa Claus". For this I lifted the opening lick from "Cool" and just played. One of the more beautiful choices comes from Francesca Erni who asked for "Jingle Bells" in the style of a Lully overture. This one could actually work as a piece of music. I'll work on the other requests as I have time. This ends on 12th night.at least the carols version. Well, my ...
