Friday, March 28, 2014. Like the good southern woman I am, I put okra seeds into water this morning to start soaking. I gave up on the idea of apartment gardening this year. My rosemary, and yes the cactus, are dead, and my kale plant is not far behind. We just don't get enough direct sun in our little apartment. Thursday, July 19, 2012. I'm in a similar place again. Instead of a Spanish post office, most of the remaining stuff (of which hopefully there won't be much) will be going to my parents' garage (a much more secure place to be sure! Because, like last time, I'm about to be on the move. I'm headed west again. (Imagine that.). All that to say, I'm packing my bags for a different kind of trip these days, but life is most definitely good! And also, if you want some of my crap, come and get it!

This past weekend I raced the Maah Daah Hey 75 race in the North Dakota Badlands! However, the last 6 miles were almost more difficult than the first 6 miles.
