Thursday, May 24, 2012. Back in the Saddle. Awhile ago, I got frustrated and deleted the whole blog. I'm a little annoyed with myself for doing it, but at the same time, I'm happy I did. Though I'm keeping the name, I feel that not only will the content be different this time around, but that am I different person this go-round. And finally, I'm finally comfortable and confident and happy in this new city and life of mine. So much has changed since I blogged here consistently, but I'm excited to share.

Like a lot of us out there who carry around a little extra, my weight is something that I've pretty continuously struggled with for as long as I can remember. I mostly dealt with being a little pudgier than most during high school without a thought about ever trying to become more active or eating better to lose it. High School Me - Happily Pudgy. My 22nd Birthday - Around my heaviest time. My college graduation day. 1 Return to the weight I was when I graduated from college. April 26, 2016 at 12:24 AM.

Everybody's On A Diet. Sunday, August 22, 2010. I'm here, I promise. I have just been swamped by a new job and the ability/desire to exercise this week. Here's a brief summary:. Day 9 (Tuesday) :. B - 2 halved deviled eggs, 1/4 cup beans/zuchinni. L - small ceasar salad w/ 1 oz chicken breast, plain yogurt w/splenda and vanilla, hummus and broccoli, 1/4 cup beans/zuchinni. S - individually packaged hummus. Work Out - 1 hour biking, 2 hours rowing (whew). D - Tomato soup and an overdose of sugar free candy.

It's weird that before SBD my plate consisted of probably 60% veggies, but that while on Phase 1 vegetables are the chore that I just really, really don't want to eat. Everybody's On A Diet. Sunday, August 15, 2010. First thing in the morning I treked downtown to our local farmers market which is held under an overpass in the city. It is, hands down, one of my favorite things I love where I live, and in my opinion, is made even that much better by the presence of a thunderstorm. 15 bucks at the FarMar got me: 3 huge zuchinni, 1 giant eggplant, 6 heirloom tomatoes, a big bag of baby spinach, 2 groups of green onions, and about 5 multicolored peppers. It was a good day.

I feel slightly better today, but I can tell I still need to take it easy, which sucks because I think all my running muscles are just disintegrating. A great alternative to eggs oh phase 1. Veggies, protein, "dairy", check. Eating plan for the day:. L: imitation crab, raw broccoli, and LF ranch for dipping; green tea.
