Mijn naam is Laurens Savelkoul. Ik ben en 75 jaar oud en woon te Sittard. In 1980 ben ik begonnen met het schrijven en het spelen van toneelstukken, hoofdzakelijk eenakters in het Limburgs dialect. In 1989 richtte ik in Sittard een eigen toneelgroep op en begon ook met regisseren. Het regisseren beviel zo goed, dat ik in 1990 een regiecursus ging volgen bij de Limburgse Federatie van Amateurtoneel (LFA). Een geweldig mooi stuk, waar ik hele goede en indrukwekkende herinneringen aan heb overgehouden.

Around the Kitchen Table. Some of my fondest homeschool memories have happened around my kitchen table. In the early years of homeschooling, the memories included other homeschool moms visiting while our children played. Sinds ik de ziekte van Kahler heb houd ik familie, vrienden, dierbaren, en iedere andere belangstellende met deze blog op de hoogte van het verloop en verdere ontwikkelingen. Het zo zijn van dat wat is. Donderdag 4 juni 2015. Dinsdag 2 juni is Laurens overleden. De laatste week gingen de veranderingen snel. Laurens was uitbehandeld, de ziekte niet meer beheersbaar. We zijn heel gelukkig geweest met deze laatste week thuis met de kinderen, familie en vrienden. Links naar deze post. Woensdag 27 mei 2015.
