Sunday, April 7, 2013. The kids were SUPER excited for Easter this year. More than they were for Christmas. All Saturday they were reminding me that we need to get ready for Easter. I kept telling them that there really isn't a lot of prep work - just set the baskets out. Still, they were all up at 4:30. We made them go back to bed. Sunday, May 25, 2014. I had to chop Abby's hair. I didn't know if I wanted to because she has a bit of curl but, in the end, I did and I'm so glad. I think 3 year olds with a bob haircut is about the cutest thing. Seeing Abby likes this reminded me of little Anna when she was 2 years old. That was about the time we moved to Tulsa. Sunday, May 25, 2014. At this point, these two are really great friends. I'm sure they will have their differences but I hope they are always close. And, maybe one day they'll take their for real babies on a stroll. By then, I hope Abby won't try to wipe her nose on her sister's sleeve. This is where we spent a few days for Spring Break. You can see our cabin here on the edge of the water. We spent a fair amount of time at the playground. Even Brad was inspired. Kids tossed lots of stuff into the lake.

Thursday, January 31, 2013. Abby took these pictures the other day from the confines of our Target shopping cart. I was about to delete them when I thought they were interesting. So, this is what shopping looks like to a 20 mo. old! It reminded me of when Grant complained about going shopping with me. It should be called 'sitting' not 'shopping,'" he explained. Friday, August 30, 2013. I nearly forgot to include our swim lessons from summer. I don't know how I forgot since we took them for 6 (yes SIX) weeks. Sunday, May 25, 2014. This is where we spent a few days for Spring Break. You can see our cabin here on the edge of the water. We spent a fair amount of time at the playground. Even Brad was inspired. Kids tossed lots of stuff into the lake. We made s'mores at least 3 times. Caught a few fish. It was a fun-filled, slightly ghetto, memorable trip. Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Grant is obsessed with lemonade. Often I find "Lemons" scratched on my grocery list by his little hand. He will squeeze his own lemons, add a very tiny amount of sugar (he likes it tart), and stir it into some water. Here he is teaching Abby the ropes. Wednesday, July 24, 2013. We've mostly been hanging out at home this summer. Here's what it has looked like:. Reading on the couch. Trips to the library. Sweet Eats at Sams Club. Fun at the Pool. I have enjoyed having the kids at home, just being chill, and enjoying each other. There has been a fair share of fighting but I am happy for the time together. 1,2,3 Jump.
