God Is Watching Over You →. August 6, 2011. Last Saturday night I was surprised by Joelle and Samuel my missionary friends from Honduras. Joelle was working as a nurse at LDL and Samuel was working in the fields. They got married a few months ago and are living in Montana now. I was speechless when I saw them and overwhelmed with emotion all I could do was cry. I was super excited! Samuel and Joelle surprising me. Samuel leading us in worship. So happy to have had them here, yet sad to see them leave.

This verse reminds me that God is capable of completely healing me overnight. It’s possible. It’d be a miracle. I am hopeful. Romans 8:18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”. Lungs that fill properly with air. Toes that wiggle and legs that move. Faithfulness of God →. September 13, 2011. It made me feel like giving up. I was ready for an escape from everything having to do with Lyme disease. I felt like I was fighting a battle that I would never win, but where the LD is always winning. I thought, what’s the point? In finding a good doctor, in my treatments and protocols? One year ago today I left the hospital in Honduras and arrived at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
