实验室现有固定人员13名，其中高级职称 包括副高 8人，包括 长江学者奖励计划 特聘教授1名，中科院 百人计划 入选者2名，国家杰出青年基金获得者1名，教育部 长江学者 1名，初步形成了一支以中青年为骨干的研究梯队。 本实验室以细胞有丝分裂及细胞迁移过程为细胞动力学与化学生物学为研究模式体系，以蛋白质复合物动态变化的重要调节功能为切入点，运用活体动态分子跟踪、纳米尺度蛋白质动力学特征评估 如 FRET、TIRF等 、纳米光镊及原子力显微镜等物理学手段，结合化学生物学的最新进展和方法，综合多学科交叉和团队合作优势，在细胞增殖重要蛋白质作用网络研究方面的、，我们已取得的新发现和系统性工作积累的广度的基础上，研究这两个重要细胞动力学过程所涉及的蛋白质分子动力学行为，阐释蛋白质复合物及其相互作用网络动力学调控的新规律，探讨其在生命活动中的新功能，揭示其在人类各种重大疾病的发病机理，为相关疾病的诊断方法和治疗靶点提供理论依据与技术支撑。 实验室全体工作人员斗志旺盛，希望在 985工程 中长期建设规划及 新药创制 重大专项的支持下，2011年年底前完成新药临床审批的各项实验。
