We visited Kaboom Books yesterday, a small bookstore within walking distance of our Church. I've been dying to visit ever since I spied bookshelf upon bookshelf in a charming storefront we pass every Sunday while driving home. There's a space a few doors down that seems to be transitioning to a café or coffee shop. Oh, please, God! The hangman whom I have seen cannot hang me. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Something new at LaffertyWhistle.com: ReadOuts. In short: I've been inspired by Litro's Emergency Books. My goal is to provide a slightly more minimalistic source of printable, short literature. I wasn't really in love with Litro's selection, either, so ReadOuts will include (in my humble opinion), more worthy fare.
