Saturday, January 16, 2010. This past week Tracy and I were fortunate enough to take a ski trip with her family out in Breckenridge Colorado. It was fantastic! We went skiing and snowboarding for 4 days straight and then took a snowmobiling tour up a mountain to the Continental Divide on our last day. Here are a few pics of our trip-. Tracy and Carly on our flight. Carly on the Slopes. Aaron and Tracy on the slopes. Mom and Pop Frost. Tracy and her Mom. Tracy making snow angels on the Continental Divide.

Making Memories: Good Times, Strange Fish...
http://aaronandtracyslife.blogspot.com/2009/10/good-times-strange-fish.html
Saturday, October 17, 2009. Good Times, Strange Fish. The only thing better than all of that is having a wife that genuinely encourages you to get out with the guys and go fishing every now and then. Just one of the many reasons I sure do love my wife. It was downright chilly when we started out this morning. I mean, really cold. When I left the house, I thought for sure my umbros. And t-shirt would be sufficient. I was wrong. This is a photo of the guys around 7am on our way out to the honey hole:.

Walking in Grace: David's Big BUT
http://danswaysimpleblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/david-big-but.html
Sunday, May 22, 2011. As part of the YouVersion. Psalms and Proverbs reading plan. I am amazed by King David's resolve. The first part of the Psalm is a cry out to God in the midst of utter despair. We read as David is fully honest with God. Not holding back his frustration. You can almost hear him yelling this at God. And then a shift in verse 5:. I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. This is a big BUT. Got it right when he penned "You Never Let Go":. I'm husband of...

Walking in Grace: December 2010
http://danswaysimpleblog.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 26, 2010. Time - A Parents Perspective. With Him. It hit me in the face - God must be feeling the same way I do as a parent. As a parent, Mark Beeson. Has taught me a great deal about parenting. He has spoken on scheduling time with your kids. This is why I still try to keep a regular time of taking each individual daughter out for a breakfast meal so we can simply BE. This regular time with God is a must too! But God isn't the one who sets the schedule, it's US! I'm not slamming anyone ...

Walking in Grace: Hillsong United Concert - A Worship Leader's Perspective
http://danswaysimpleblog.blogspot.com/2011/08/hillsong-united-concert-worship-leaders.html
Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Hillsong United Concert - A Worship Leader's Perspective. I headed up to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI yesterday to see Hillsong United. Joel Houston and team led us in a 2.5 hour worship experience. I stood the entire time, but never really got tired. 1 Hillsong knows how to program a worship concert. 2 They understand worship FLOW. 3 They shared the stage between them. 4 Hillsong United has an amazing following considering very little airplay. The arena was packed! I'm h...

FindThe01: May 2011
http://findthe01.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 5, 2011. This passage really hit me hard. What an awesome example of what a group of people can accomplish when they allow the Lord to stir up their hearts (Ex36:2)! I mean, take a look: the Israelites gave of themselves so much that the had to be 'restrained. They had given more than enough to accomplish what God was calling them to. What would this sort of sacrifice look like in modern Christianity? How do church leaders compel their communities to this point? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
