Out of the Inkbottle. Vagrant thoughts of no fixed abode. Saturday, November 8, 2014. Sparrows, Bridges, Smith and Morrises. This week has seen me try to put into some sane form, all the information of the Sparrow tea family, the Bridges of London (the family, not the architectural river spanning wonders), the ever puzzling Smiths and the family of Mrs. Frederick Sparrow, Ann, whose family were the Morrises, who were connected with Christopher Smith, Lord Mayor of London. Full Moon in Taurus. It's a comf...

Out of the Inkbottle. Vagrant thoughts of no fixed abode. Saturday, November 9, 2013. The family seems to have be bifurcated along the tines of law and printing. Christopher Robson, the London based Barrister of Clifford's Inn, had followed his father into law and an earlier William ( perhaps an uncle) started in printing/lithography in London at the rousing dawn of the 1800s. Charles' boys became master-printers, while two of Christopher's boys went into law. Christopher Robson (who was by the way, the ...

Out of the Inkbottle. Vagrant thoughts of no fixed abode. Sunday, September 8, 2013. Octavia Hamilton, A struggle for contentment. She was born Eliza Octavia Scrivenor. Her choice of professional name perhaps may possibly. So, Eliza Octavia lived in a family that had a compulsion to achievement, religious durability on the left and the faded, ‘don’t-ask-too-many-questions’ end of noblesse on the right. John Walter Scrivenor’s family was in the middle. No pressure then. At some point Eliza Octavia, after ...

Creative Accomplishments: March 2012
http://creativeaccomplishments.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
March 19, 2012. Knitted blouse from 1945. I have been knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting lately. Well, also sewing a lot. But I knit to relax and I find the process very soothing. It slows me down and gives me time to think and organize my thoughts. Here is a jumper from 1945 I just finished. As you can see, the original pattern (free! Suggests 3 colours but I found the lace pattern so interesting that I opted to only use a blue alpaca wool. March 13, 2012. Labels: My creative accomplishments.

nothing to say really: Childhood Plays
http://leah-nothingtosayreally.blogspot.com/2010/06/childhood-plays.html
Nothing to say really. Thursday, July 1, 2010. Sadly, these pictures were taken with my phone and aren't very good, but hopefully you'll get the gist. When I was at my friend Heather's recently, her daughter Molly Kate ( who's been featured before. Presenting Tom and Jerry, when Tom gets drunk. She jumped back behind the curtain. Whispering from behind the curtain. Which means root beer is far more dangerous than we ever thought. That just cracked me up! July 1, 2010 at 9:14 AM. View my complete profile.

F-Bomb Totally Nerd's-Out: Fallon's Battle of the Instant Bands
http://fbombnerdsout.blogspot.com/2010/04/fallons-battle-of-instant-bands.html
Thursday, April 8, 2010. Fallon's Battle of the Instant Bands. I'm not sure I can count how many times Jimmy Fallon broke character during his tenure on SNL, and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Started off needing a bit of work. but. what can I say? He DID that work. Fallon's iteration of Late Night not only comes equipped with Hip-Hop's greatest full-fledged band, The Roots. Just have some staying power after all. More recently, he has given us the Conan-worthy ' Head Swap. April 8, 2010 at 9:28 PM. Not s...

My own bias tape for the white floral version using the self fabric. I'm also VERY close to finish a spring coat in pink wool based on this pattern:. Labels: My creative accomplishments. March 1, 2012 at 4:17 PM. Nice result, I like the self bias binding a lot! March 2, 2012 at 10:55 AM. That is very good binding, mine always comes out a bit wonkey! March 2, 2012 at 2:22 PM.

Monday, July 27, 2009. Objects On the Road. I tried an experiment yesterday. Since I haven't done stand-up comedy in a long time, but still come up with the occasional bit, I decided I might throw some visuals in the mix and make a video instead of letting it go to waste. I like the way it turned out, but I feel like it could be funnier. so I'm thinking I'll probably make another of these. Objects On the Road. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Monday, July 13, 2009.
