A Life Redeemed: What I Learned

http://learningtotrustgod.blogspot.com/2015/01/what-i-learned.html

Sunday, January 4, 2015. I am on a homeschool forum with a great bunch of ladies. One of the topics brought up this weekend is, "What did you learn this year? I learned a lot of things educationally, etc. But along with all the fun stuff (biology and history can be amazing when you get to learn along with the kids). But there are some lessons that are ongoing, that even when you think you have learned them they keep coming back. These I have pondered this morning. Give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

http://learningtotrustgod.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html

Friday, August 31, 2012. Not that anyone but me gets excited about this stuff, but I thought I'd share some pics from our field trip yesterday. We went to The St. Louis Zoo. For the day. Intentional living with intentional love. Pretty Toxic by Emily. I wish I could say I am the type of girl that doesn’t care for makeup very much. I would. To be the kind of girl who wears makeup from time to time, but doesn’t use it daily. Even as a young girl, I was pulling on dress up gowns and smearing pink lipstick across my face (… not to mention the princess crown to top it off). I grew up. After an initial hesitation, I began to throw out makeup that was old and/or toxic. I began to replenish ...

Learning To Tri | Swim, Bike, Run, Eat, Sleep, Repeat

Post Race Week: What Do I Do Now? I’ll admit it: Sunday, the day after my first triathlon, I was down in the dumps.
