Learn Teaching – Teach Learning. This blog provides research, resources, experiences and strategies for enhancing quality teaching. I was shocked to find how teachers (and practicing teachers) spoke about their students. The teachers used phrases such as ‘the autistic one’, ‘the dumb one’, ‘the wheelchair’. These phrases provide negative connotations and see the child’s disability first rather than acknowledging the child for their individuality. How can it be bias limited from your pedagogy of teaching?
