Sunday, 23 August 2009. Sunday Stills - A Beautiful Road. I have cheated this week as I have been rather busy and have not had much time to swan about with my camera. I took this photo while on holiday a couple of years back, in the haunting excavated town of Pompeii. Excavations started back in 1748 revealing prestigious buildings, artifacts and roads. This is my entry for Sunday Stills. The theme this week is The Open Road. I've added some more photos of Pompeii here. Links to this post.
